Inspirations

Hi all!
Today was a lazy day! I just love my bed so much and I was glued to it today... ;) Anyways I have donemany hours of Pinteresting with a success! I have loads of projects on my mind now and I am only counting the days when my exams are over sp I can realise few of them. I love hand-made cards and customised wrapping paper, they look way nicer than the ones in stores :) I need to buy a chalk paint I have seen many  cool projects using it. You can use it pretty much everywhere! Decorating glass plates using decoupage have been on my mind since I started doing earrings. I think it gives this uniqueness to the house.
Frames, frames, frames! I just need to go to IKEA and get some to make these cute pics using buttons. Maybe a present idea? Who knows... :)

Hi everyone!

I am back from a really long break from decoupage. A lot has changed and as I am approaching the end of semester 2 I have a lot of spare time.

I have been thinking to start using decoupage technique on other things than just earrings. That's why I bought over 40 napkins to decorate whatever is on my eyesight :) Enjoy!

Decoupage (or découpage) is the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it in combination with special paint effects, gold leaf and so on. Commonly an object like a small box or an item of furniture is covered by cutouts from magazines or from purpose-manufactured papers. Each layer is sealed with varnishes (often multiple coats) until the "stuck on" appearance disappears and the result looks like painting or inlay work.
